STRAWBERRY FIELDS/marc by marc jacobs pumps in cedar patent

I don't have a ton to say for this post, but...who doesn't need a strawberry headband?!  I purchased this cutie at a local flea market this past weekend.  They didn't just stop at strawberries either...they had oranges, apples and even a little nesting bird.  Fruit makes for such an exquisite accessory; in fact, just holding a granny smith apple with a hot pink dress doesn't seem like such a bad idea.  Never underestimate the power of a hot prop.

Check out Jerrmaner's new boots...he's been waiting a long time for these: SEE/homme

MODERATELY INVISIBLE/maison martin margiela for h&m brown leather boots with invisible heel

I'm sure everyone is as excited as me about the Maison Martin Margiela for H&M collection.  Yes, the collection is absolutely flawless...and you almost wonder if they skimped at all on production costs.  It's perfect, right?  I thought so.  And so...I decided to purchase a few items.

Here's a couple of my purchases from the collection...

In the spirit of Margiela, check out Digital Vacancy's use of the Margiela for H&M garment bag at SEE/homme.

STILL/7 for all man kind jean shorts

It took me far too long to make my way to the new Clyfford Still Museum in Denver, but I finally went this weekend. It was such a treat! The building that was designed by Brad Cloepfil and Allied Works Architecture is absolutely amazing and provides the most perfect surrounding for Still's work. Plus, the natural lighting within the gallery is an art in itself. I couldn't help but fantasize about living in this amazing building (yes, paintings included) and enjoying my morning cup of coffee on the enclosed terrace. What can I say? I'm a total dreamer.

CROWNED/supertrash olammy faux shearling-trimmed jacket

Here I am again working the crown. I'm not gonna give up on these crowns...they are exquisite and they just make me feel like a girl. These crowns can backfire though. Go too matchy matchy with this piece and risk looking like a toddler on Easter. Beware...you were warned here first.

And note my trusty necklace trio...the bullet, the wishbone and the medallion. Sounds like a movie title, huh?

Jerrmaner made me dance for this shoot. I was taking really lousy photos on this particular day, so he thought it might be a good idea to try dancing to relax. So he put on some serious jams (a little 'Gin and Juice' anyone?) and this was the result. Kind of awkward, kind of cool...and maybe something you never ever want to see again.

I'm starting to see the beauty in wearing sunglasses for photos. Wear sunglasses for a photo and you have a 95% chance of taking a good photo. Don't wear sunglasses for a photo and you have about a 50% chance of taking a good photo...unless you are unbelievably photogenic or perhaps, just look like Angelina Jolie.

The jacket is a true star. Looking effortlessly chic is made easy with a jacket like this. And...as if it couldn't get any better...the jacket is totally warm. Perfect for a Colorado girl like me who has to brave the cold quite often.

ONE BIT/hilfiger bennington high duck boot

First of all, let's talk muff. I think that a muff is one of the great forgotten accessories...along with tiaras and sweater clips. I love a fur muff, but it is rare to see people using them. This muff is especially alluring, as it takes on double duty and seconds as a handbag. Swoon!! Love items that make fashion practical...doesn't happen often, but when it does, I'm just tickled!

I can't stick much in this bag, but I can usually fit just enough to get me through a night out.

The top two bracelets on my left arm are INRETROspect again. Told you! Once you have one, you will want many.

The second bracelet down on right arm is one of the Marc by Marc Jacobs Latin bracelets, purchased at the wonderful Bookmarc in New York.

All other bracelets are vintage.

The boots take me back to my youth. My mom used to make me wear duck boots when I was little and if they would have looked like these, I don't think I would have minded one bit. These are the Hilfiger Bennington High Duck Boot and from the moment I saw them sashay down the runway, I knew that they had to be mine. Such a refreshing twist on classic footwear...absolutely brilliant, Mr. Hilfiger!
