GOLDEN CHILD/adidas originals x opening ceremony peplum short-sleeve tee

I purchased this jacket from the Patricia Field store in New York.  Patricia Field is my ultimate role model, so you can imagine my reaction when I walked into the store and saw her standing there at the counter.  Of course I said something brilliant...with an awestruck "hi" spilling out of my mouth.  These types of moments never go as planned, but I can't complain because I found this rad jacket while I was there.

Also while in New York, Jerrmaner and I popped into the Adidas Originals x Opening Ceremony pop-up store in Soho.  There were many swoon-worthy items in the store, but I opted for this little spandex number.  Pretty cool idea to have a shop filled with sport-inspired fashion, which was just in time for Olympic fever.

FOLLOW THE LIGHT/nyc part 2

I was so excited to be staying at the Gramercy Park Hotel in New York.  Man...talk about my dream decor! *sigh*  In a perfect world, my home would look like the Gramercy Park Hotel and I would look like Gisele Bundchen...yes, I know this is a far-fetched illusion, but we are talking dream world here, people.

Enjoy all the pretty light pics.  I'm kind of like a moth in that respect, as I am always drawn to any and all lighting...well no, I take that back, I am drawn to good lighting and I think that it is highly disrespectful to have poor lighting in an establishment or at a party.  Everything and everyone looks better at night...so please, always remember to dim those lights.

GLITZ & GLAMOUR/nyc part 1

I always feel like I am going home when I go to NYC...and my recent trip back was no exception.

We went to NYC to see the Schiaparelli and Prada exhibit at The Met.  It was amazing (of course)...but I also saw many other inspriring things along the way.
