FROM TOKYO WITH LOVE/3.1 phillip lim ora over-the-knee boot

What I did before buying this sweater, I do not know.  I purchased it in Harajuku and now it has become my go-to sweater.  I find myself reaching for it far too often...and I'm sure that everyone who sees me on a regular basis is eagerly anticipating a costume change.  But as long as it keeps making me feel cozy, sporty and warm, I will not be giving it up anytime soon.

Be sure to visit SEE/homme for a new set.  It's a goodie and it also includes my current theme song.

SOMETHING IN THE AIR/gucci loafers

Fall is already in the air.  You can feel it in the mornings and at night.  I started to get a little anxious and pulled out some of my fall jackets.

I also found this denim skirt that I forgot I had.  I think I bought it in Moscow several years ago and yes, this is the first time I am ever wearing it.  I am so bad about wearing the same things over and over again that most of my clothes (including this skirt) get neglected.

I BELIEVE/zara wedge sneaker

These pictures were taken at an abandoned motel near my house.  Seemed like an appropriate backdrop considering the ensemble...I definitely needed something a little on the seedy side.  I kind of wanted the photos to have the feel of a cheesy horror flick, which is one of my favorite things.  I grew up on cheesy horror (thanks to my oldest sister) and now I find comfort in watching these B movie wonders.  This motel doesn't make me think of any cheesy horror movies, but makes me think of the movie Psycho; and while shooting today, I could hear the theme music in my head.  Shower anyone?   Hope you love a seedy motel as much as I do.

And to answer your question...yes, I really do believe.

ELIMINATING GREY AREAS/pura lopez chunky heel mary janes

Digital Vacancy and I are finally back to reality and you know what that means, right?  Yep, we are back to the good, old-fashioned outfit posts.  We have been trying to find some new locations for shooting.  I wanted something different and out of the ordinary for me...so Jerrmaner suggested a car wash.  Rude!!  My car is just too fragile to be washed...and he is always down on me about my car!  But after my sensitivity subsided, I realized that going to the car wash was a brilliant idea...well done Digital Vacancy!

Why these Yorkie print shorts were necessary, I really can't explain.  My friend tells me that I am drawn to anything that involves critters, which is pretty much a true statement.  Sign me up for anything that entails an owl, a donkey or (most recently) a Yorkie and I will be overly enchanted.

The shoes I bought a few years ago from Footcandy in California.  I love the 70's vibe of these shoes.  A little sweet, a little retro, plus a dash of metallic...it doesn't get much better than that.
