AT WAR WITH THE GREEN RING/costume jewelry

Purchased a handful of these cheap rings in Dallas.  I just couldn't pass them up!  The colorful sparkle has taken my finger overload to a whole new level.  They add a touch of glamour to any casual ensemble (as in jeans and tee-shirt casual), plus layering them up only makes them look better!  The only danger with cheap rings such as these...they could leave you with the harsh reality of a green "reminder" ring around your finger if you are not careful. 

Note:  Please remove rings prior to hand washing.

KEEP IT COZY/pajamas as street wear

During the winter months, I just want to be cozy.  It's cold, it's dry and I really just feel like I could spend most days in bed; therefore, it is not unusual for me to keep it casual during the winter months.  It's times like these that I crave the sleepwear-as-street wear trend...and whether the trend is on its way out or not, I decided to pull out my leopard pajama bottoms again.  But this time I opted to mix with other separates rather than wearing head to toe pajamas.  It's all about mixing it up in 2013.

Fell in love with Rianna Phillips' prints as soon as I saw them on Instagram.  I knew that I had to do my research and find out everything this designer had to offer.  So...I checked out her Etsy shop and found this amazingly enchanting scarf.  Isn't the print spectacular?  Spikes and crystals create an intriguing metal wonderland.  So fabulous, that I chose to wear my scarf as a bandeau top just so I could show off the print.

It has been so hot in Denver lately that I don't even consider wearing jewelry...as few items as possible, please!  On this particular evening, I opted for a Zara dress that I purchased in Switzerland.  It is quite possible that this "dress" is a tunic that I am wearing as a dress....wouldn't be the first time this has happened...I mean, what can I say?  I'm short, so this type of devious behavior is something that I can easily pull off.
