ALL'S WELL THAT ENDS WELL/barbara bui leather jacket

As I said on Twitter...Any trip that ends with Barbara Bui leather is a good one.  Found this beauty on my last day in LA at Wasteland, along with many other goodies.  Definitely my new favorite shop and it will be on my LA agenda from now on.

Stay tuned for some Chanel and Burberry treasures also from Wasteland.

MAGICAL UNICORN/h&m unicorn top

I became obsessed with the idea of adding more unicorns to my life a few weeks ago after seeing a salt at Hazel & Dewey called Magic Unicorn Sea Salt.  I did not purchase this salt, but I often like to dream of it.  I like to believe that the grains of salt are colors of the rainbow and that everywhere it is sprinkled, magic is spread.

In the midst of daydreaming, I have acquired some unicorns of my own.  The first purchase being this top.  What could be more magically divine than leaping horses and unicorns in an array of colors?!  I was quickly enchanted by this top.  Plus...that little pink cutie in front had me at "hello."

KEEP IT COZY/pajamas as street wear

During the winter months, I just want to be cozy.  It's cold, it's dry and I really just feel like I could spend most days in bed; therefore, it is not unusual for me to keep it casual during the winter months.  It's times like these that I crave the sleepwear-as-street wear trend...and whether the trend is on its way out or not, I decided to pull out my leopard pajama bottoms again.  But this time I opted to mix with other separates rather than wearing head to toe pajamas.  It's all about mixing it up in 2013.

BY REQUEST/diy jil sander veiled beanie

Many people have asked me to post more pictures of my DIY Jil Sander veiled beanie.  The last picture I posted really showed only the veil...so I bring you this post which shows the top of this DIY gem.  I love this hat so much.  I feel like it goes with everything; dress it up or dress it down, this beauty will never fail you.  It's almost kind of like one of those friends that you can always count on.

I'm wearing my hat with my Marc Jacobs for Neiman Marcus for Target clutch...phew!  It just says Marc Jacobs on the front, so let's just keep it at that.

P.S.  The last time I checked, this Marc Jacobs clutch was 70% off at Target.

P.S.S. Feel free to email me if you have any issues making your very own Jil Sander veiled beanie.

MULLETS & MILKYWAY/alexander wang bianca runway fishskin sandal

Ohhh, the mullet cut clothing trend...how I love thee.  Something about having extra material blowing behind me just makes me giddy!  I found this particular top at a local boutique called Common Era.

The pants you have seen before and the shoes...well...the shoes are something entirely special.  I was worried that I wouldn't even get these...I mean they sold out everywhere in a matter of days (like I said before, it's been a very competitive shoe season).  Luckily, I was able to place a pre-order for a pair from Neiman Marcus.  Seriously...my life was a lot less expensive prior to the success of Alexander Wang.  Seems like every season, I want at least several pairs of his runway shoes.  Can you blame me?!  The dude does no wrong and has made looking "effortlessly chic" oh-so-easy.

P.S.  Kinda having a Mr. T moment with all the arm glitz.  Nothing wrong with going overboard with jewelry...don't fear it, embrace it.
