AFTER THE STORM/vintage fur jacket

Sorry for the lack of posts lately.  We had a major snowstorm in Denver last weekend and it just so happened to coincide with our shooting day for the blog.  So, we are a week behind.

Nevertheless, we are back.  But I am going to be honest with you...I am feeling less than inspired these days.  It must be Spring fever.  I just want to be in all florals and pastels, but it is too dirty here in Denver right now (as everything melts) for any such thing.

SEQUINS, PEARLS & POODLES/j brand denim

Wearing my new favorite jacket from Dallas (which was actually found at a thrift store).  I'm so in love with this sequined beauty.

Also wearing a Fruit of the Loom tee.  I bought a pack of these men's tees recently and find that they go with absolutely everything!  Plus, they are super cozy.

The poodle necklace is something very special because he came from my sister.  Every birthday and Christmas, I receive a gift from my sister which she refers to as a "bag of cool shit."  The bags are filled with amazing vintage treasures; things that my sister has found on her vintage shopping adventures.  I have received amazing jewelry, lucite seahorses, a mountable deer head and so on.  This poodle was a gift for this past Christmas.  He is the perfect gift for me because I am an absolute sucker for anything that has to do with poodles.

1970s AFFAIR/vintage patchwork rabbit fur bomber jacket

I've always wanted a rabbit fur bomber and it took me about 10 years to find the perfect one.  Yep, I stuck with my bomber search and I have finally conquered.  I found this perfect 1970s jacket on a website called Tangerine Boutique.  I have to say that I normally like to visit vintage shops when doing my vintage clothing shopping, but for this site, I am willing to make an exception.  The site has the most beautiful pieces and I think that the prices are super reasonable.  Check it out...you won't regret it!
