Physics shows that a bee can't fly.  But bees do fly.

Keep that in mind.

I'VE NEVER FELT LIKE THIS BEFORE/fendi polifonia ankle boot

Expect to see these shoes a lot...I'm absolutely smitten and I'm not sure that I have ever felt this way about a shoe before.  Aren't they perfect?  I don't think any of the stores in Denver carry these shoes, but I am so lucky to have a wonderful shoe guy at Nordstrom that made the special order for me.  I look forward to a great future with these precious beauties.

Note the clutch (I don't think it is really a clutch but that's what it is to me).  I bought it in Vienna at the MUMOK.  It's made of waterproof/tear resistant paper.  It was displayed at the museum with a permanent marker because you can actually write on it.  I fell in love with the idea right away!  But now, I just don't know what to write...whatever I write will stay on there forever, so it's gotta be good!  I am tempted to just give my 4 year old niece a Sharpie and see what she comes up with...but of course, that's a bit of a risk too.  Please let me know if you have any other brilliant ideas.

SIGNS OF SPRING/alexander wang cummerbund silk-crepe pants

The sun was out today and I couldn't be happier!  I felt like one of the models from the Marc Jacobs' F/W 2013 show...feeling almost dependent on the sun.  The warmth, the light, the overall feeling of the city...it was a beautiful day here in Denver.  And I definitely needed it to conquer my wintertime blues.

Since it was warm, I decided to whip out my boudoir jacket that I purchased at the Antique Mall.  I purchased this cutie a while ago, but it has been far too cold to wear it.  It makes me think of the Alexis Mabille Spring 2013 Couture collection...so soft and feminine.  Soft, feminine and lots of pink is what I'm dreaming of for Spring.

MODERATELY INVISIBLE/maison martin margiela for h&m brown leather boots with invisible heel

I'm sure everyone is as excited as me about the Maison Martin Margiela for H&M collection.  Yes, the collection is absolutely flawless...and you almost wonder if they skimped at all on production costs.  It's perfect, right?  I thought so.  And so...I decided to purchase a few items.

Here's a couple of my purchases from the collection...

In the spirit of Margiela, check out Digital Vacancy's use of the Margiela for H&M garment bag at SEE/homme.

PARTY GIRL/nono muaks cross kick eyes glasses

We all know that I love a great party mask...so you can imagine my excitement when I discovered Nono Muaks Kick Eyes glasses!  Kick Eyes glasses are part sunglasses, part party mask.  No lenses, no social shield, no secrets...these glasses expose you and all your eyes have to say.

A way cool accessory for upcoming holiday parties.

PETER PAN/metal collar necklace

I became obsessed with these collar necklaces while in Paris.  I saw so many of them on the streets, but yet I couldn't find one to purchase.  Lucky for me, I was able to find one at H&M last week and now (as expected), it is my new favorite accessory.

Sure, I could have just ordered the Louis Vuitton metal collar, but I figured I should get my fix with a less expensive version...at least to start.  Taking baby steps is a sign of maturity. :)

ONE WAY/alexander wang isabeli haircalf pointed mules

I am truly taking advantage of print mixing with this outfit...but, why not?  I say that you should never be afraid of combining your favorite prints.  Even if it is tie-dye mixed with more tie-dye...mixed with leopard?  Yep!  Why not?

Over thinking anything is never a good thing.

STUDDED/gucci studded heels

I believe I purchased these shoes in Spring 2005.  That was during my Gucci phase when any and all purchases (in terms of accessories) had to be Gucci.

I have to say that these shoes (and many other of my Gucci purchases) were some of the best purchases that I have ever made.  The quality is amazing...and they truly never go out of style.

DOWNTOWN/street style

When it was decided that we were going out to dinner with friends on a freezing winter's night, there was no other option but to wear my beloved fur leg warmers. The best part of these leg warmers is that they have pockets...yes, that's right...pockets! If you wanted to wear these out and go sans a bag, you totally could. Just tuck away your ID, credit card and phone in a secret compartment that is fully camouflaged by luscious fur.

On this particular evening, I did not use the pockets. I pretty much carry everything I own in my handbag, so there really isn't a pocket big enough for me.

I also wore my Gentle Fawn candle printed top that I purchased from Modcloth. The back of this top is an unexpected treat...I will post it again later and you can take a peek.
